I started on my French Course at Eszett at the very beginner level (A1.1). I wanted to learn French as I recently moved from Denmark, to at French speaking country, to live with my boyfriend. My main goal with these lessons is to find a job and have conversations with French people and that’s also why I am continuing to do the classes on the next level.

Studying French online

Learning online has for me, been a very good solution in a time where COVID-19 has been taking a lot of space. Though I have not been able to be in a physical classroom, I still have classmates that I can communicate with. Learning online requires a good internet connection and a good pair of headphones to get the full benefit of learning, which has not always been perfect for me, but the teacher works with this and adapts. You don't need to be overly tech savvy to use the platform, but of course some patience goes a long way for any moments where there is a glitch or delay. During the course, I’ve met a very engaged and motivated teacher, who is involving us, as her students, on the themes and what we would like to know more about. There is a lot of repetition so you really get to know the words and remember! There is only a small amount of homework every week, that is fitted to the level. During the lessons, I have also gained more knowledge about French cultures. As I'm new in a French speaking country, it has been a very nice way for me to develop my knowledge of a different culture while learning the language.

Would I recommend Eszett for French classes?

I will definitely recommend others to learn a language online with Eszett.
