Group Offline Face-to-Face Language Learning

Would you like to learn your preferred language together with your friends or work colleagues at home or at another location of your choice? Our face-to-face offline language learning course can make it happen.

The offline language learning course content is adapted to the needs of the group in order to achieve the learning objectives as quickly as possible.

What is the best way to learn in a group?

Small group sizes

Eszett recommends smaller learning groups (consisting of two to five participants) for the most effective language learning.

Everyone is at the same level

Although some small variations may occur, it is important that everyone in the group is at the same level. To this end, we recommend that everyone in the group takes our complimentary placement test, which provides your results and language level immediately after completion.  Having all students at approximately the same level allows the lessons to progress expediently, without being slowed down by those who need extra support, and equally makes sure that lessons are not too advanced for those who still want assistance with the basics.

What are the benefits of group language learning?

Learn from your peers

Teachers at Eszett are highly trained, qualified pedagogues, but you may find that someone in your class is also adept at understanding and explaining concepts. Moreover, hearing different viewpoints and approaches will help you see a variety of ways to improve your language skills.

Make new friends

When you relocate to a new area, joining a course, such as a language course, is a great way to form new friendships. Learning together fosters cooperation and mutual support. Learning a new language is also a great way to spend additional time with your existing friends.

Feel relaxed

While Eszett language tutors will mitigate the challenges surrounding learning a new language, we understand that learning a language can be daunting, especially in the early stages. Some students prefer to learn in a group as they feel this places less scrutiny on their own performance. Some are also comforted when they see that they are not the only ones to make mistakes. As fluency in languages is best attained when one is enjoying oneself, it is important that stress is absent from lessons and consequently group language sessions are ideal for those who feel intimidated at the thought of learning one-on-one with a native speaker.

Reduced cost

The group language courses are cheaper for you than one-on-one lessons, as you share the costs with the other participants.
